Hi! I’m Christina. I’m a Garden Designer, Advanced Master Gardener, and Florist growing on 1/2 an acre in Weston, CT.
I currently offer the following Talks and workshops available in person, and I would love to come share my love of flowers and gardens with you.

Talks:
All tallks are approximately 1 hr in length, and cost $600, due at the time of booking. This includes all materials needed for the presentation, a link to the file for sharing afterwards, and travel up to 30 minutes each way.
Tulipmania Talk: Tulips have a long and fascinating history. Learn about Tulipmania in the Netherlands in the 1630s, a little of the history of the flower, and how to incorporate them into your garden today. We will explore different varieties and how to arrange with them. I’ve grown
Garden Design for Cut Flowers Talk: Do you love to cut from the garden and bring flowers into your home? In this class you will learn about trees, shrubs, and herbaceous perennials to include in your gardens that will give you 4 seasons of greens and flowers to cut and bring inside. This includes a small plan for a new garden bed you can add to your garden.
Making a Mini Meadow: Small spaces can make a big impact. Learn how to transform small spaces into mini meadows of native plants full of biodiversity and helping to support the food web. Whether you have a patio or an acre or more to transform, this talk will get you set up to start the work.

Workshops:
All workshops are approximately 1.5 hrs in length, and cost $600, due at the time of booking. There is an incremental per person materials fee, which varies per workshop. The workshop fee plus per person materials fee includes all materials needed for the presentation, a take home arrangement, and travel up to 30 minutes each way.
Centerpiece Design Workshop: working with seasonal Connecticut grown flowers when possible, I will do a demonstration and then work with students to create their own centerpiece arrangement for a dining table. Vases are provided. 10 person minimum, 15 person maximum. $120 per person materials fee.
Winter Arrangements Workshop: Winter in the Northeast can be a bit gloomy. Learn how to cut and force branches and bulbs for cheerful arranging indoors. Participants will forage before class for some of their own materials, as well as bring a small cereal bowl in which to design their arrangement. This is a favorite for winter garden club meetings. 10 person minimum, 25 person maximum. $50 per person materials fee.
Tulipmania Workshop: Tulip Tulips have a long fascinating history. Learn about Tulipmania in the Netherlands in the 1630s, a little of the history of the flower, and how to incorporate them into your garden today. We will explore different varieties and how to arrange with them. We end with creating an arrangement of various kinds of tulips learning about the different varieties and tips for styling them. Each participant will take home their own arrangement of tulips. 10 person minimum, 25 person maximum. $50 per person materials fee.
