Wedgwood Etruria & Barlaston ribbed footed trumpet vase, c.1963.

Matte white ceramic with fine vertical ribbing, a flared rim, and a circular pedestal base.

The Etruria and Barlaston names trace Wedgwood’s manufacturing history: Josiah Wedgwood opened the Etruria works in Staffordshire in 1769; production later moved to Barlaston, with the old works closing in 1950.

The narrow lower body gathers stems together, while the wide opening allows flowers to spread.

Flowers not included.
